Earth Days – An Eco Film to See!
Earth Days explores the history of eco-activism and revolutionary strides taken to bring attention to our impact on the environment. This year is the 40th anniversary of the first Earth Day. The teaser for this film has that American wartime feel with the classic footage and accompanying Chambers Brothers song, Time Has Come Today. Some of the imagery is comical to me because I can’t believe that it used to seem like an okay idea to release toxic billowing smoke clouds from factories or dump dangerous chemicals into our water. Old songs and 70’s footage of protests really makes you feel the power of people fighting for what they believe in.
